Kaweei

Kaweei is a wire harness and cable assembly maker in Changping, a manufacturing town in central Dongguan. It started in 2013, runs a 70,000 sq ft factory with 100-plus staff, and sells through offices in Taiwan, California, Vietnam, Japan and Singapore. Its pitch is engineering first: harnesses built to a proper APQP process (the automotive industry's step-by-step product planning method), with samples made the same way as the production run.

The work spans automotive (EV systems, battery management, ADAS sensors), industrial automation (PLCs, servo motors, CNC machines), robot arms, telecom gear, solar and energy storage, and medical devices such as patient monitors. For medical jobs it holds ISO 13485, the medical-device quality standard, with a scope that covers cable assemblies for electronic medical equipment.

You can send a drawing, a BOM, or just a physical harness. Engineers will take a sample apart, draw it up in 2D/3D and send the drawings back for sign-off before building anything. Connectors can be the brand names (TE, Molex, JST, Amphenol, Hirose) or domestic equivalents that Kaweei says cut cost by 30–50%, and any swap is written into the approval sheet for you to confirm. Every harness gets a 100% electrical test, and it runs pull-force and cross-section checks on crimped terminals. An MES system tracks each batch.

On quantities, small pilot runs of 10–50 sets are fine. For mass production it suggests 500–1,000 sets as a starting point, depending on the harness and how parts are packed. Samples take 3–5 working days if materials are in stock, and production typically runs two to three weeks. Kaweei answers quotes within 24 hours and has an English-speaking sales team.

Kaweei suits OEMs with a harness design or an existing harness to copy, especially in automotive, robotics, industrial and medical products, who want an engineering-led supplier and plan to grow into production volumes.
