Anbotek (安博检测) is a Shenzhen test lab that electronics makers use to get products through FCC, CE, CCC, UL, PSE, KC and dozens of other approvals. It's headquartered in a science park in Bao'an and has six bases and labs plus 12 subsidiaries and outlets, from Dongguan, Guangzhou, Ningbo and Hunan to a Huizhou base for solar, energy-storage and charging gear that opened in 2025. What makes it handy is that it doesn't just hand you a failed report. It will help you fix the product.
Zhu Wei founded it on 27 May 2004 in the Nanshan Science and Technology Park. Its timeline tracks Shenzhen's hardware boom pretty closely. It got CNAS accreditation in 2008, calling itself the first private lab to do so, then Korean KTC authorisation in 2010, branches in Guangzhou and Ningbo in 2014 and Dongguan in 2015. In 2016 it listed on the NEEQ over-the-counter board (code 837435). After that came CQC contract-lab status, a Hunan environmental-testing arm, 5G test qualification and a bigger high-power lab for energy-storage systems.
The core is electronics compliance. That means EMC (electromagnetic compatibility: whether a device gives off or picks up interference), wireless and RF, electrical safety, new-energy batteries, reliability, lighting efficiency and food-contact materials. It also tests toys and gadgets for e-commerce marketplaces. It's recognised by the FCC, CPSC, UL, TÜV SÜD, TÜV Rheinland's CB lab and KTC, and has issued about 260,000 reports for more than 20,000 customers.
Hardware teams will like the EMC rectification service. If your board fails conducted or radiated emissions, the engineers suggest fixes, and you can rent lab time to retest. Anbotek pitches its prices at about a third of the big international labs, with free retests and faster turnaround. There's free one-to-one compliance advice too, a supplier-management service built on a database of 50,000 Chinese manufacturers, and help planning in-house labs.
Anbotek fits startups and brands shipping consumer electronics, IoT gear, battery products or marketplace goods that need several certifications from one Shenzhen lab. If you need a big international lab's name on the report, look at the multinationals.
