LCS Testing立讯检测

LCS Testing (立讯检测) is a privately owned Shenzhen test lab that has quietly become a workhorse for wireless gadgets. Anything with Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, 5G, UWB or a wireless charger needs radio approvals before it can be sold, and LCS covers the lot. That means FCC and IC for North America and CE/RED for Europe, including the new EN 18031 cybersecurity rules for radio devices. It also covers SRRC and CCC for China, KC, PSE, NCC and BSMI in Asia, and Bluetooth BQB qualification.

LCS was founded in 2004 and is headquartered in Shajing, Bao'an. It's a national high-tech enterprise and a "little giant" (专精特新), China's label for specialised, innovative small and mid-sized firms. It has run its labs to ISO/IEC 17025, the general standard for testing labs, from day one. Today there are more than 80 labs at sites in Houting and Gongming (both in Shenzhen), Guangzhou, Ningbo and Suzhou, plus branch offices from Qingdao and Kunshan to Liuzhou and Dongguan's Songshan Lake. People sometimes mix it up with Luxshare Precision (立讯精密), but LCS doesn't claim any connection, and it has even had to warn that a similarly named Chongqing company is unrelated.

Beyond radio, there are labs for EMC, product safety, new-energy and storage batteries, energy efficiency, lighting, automotive-electronics reliability and chemicals (RoHS, REACH, PFAS). There are some unusually specific niches too: e-cigarette and e-liquid testing for markets from the EU to New Zealand, ISTA transport-simulation tests, toys and marine lighting. Recognition comes from CNAS, CMA, the US NVLAP programme (lab code 600167-0), CPSC, Canada's IC, Australia's NATA, TÜV, UL and others, more than 20 countries' bodies in all.

The setup is built for speed. Engineers work two shifts. If a product fails, you can get EMC rectification help and rent chamber time, and sample intake, testing, certification and certificates are handled as one package. LCS is a recognised lab for Temu, AliExpress and Alibaba.com sellers, and it also helps with CCC factory audits, runs training and will even design and build labs.

LCS is a good fit for electronics makers, especially IoT, audio, wearable and battery-powered products, that need a stack of radio and safety approvals for several markets at once. It also suits marketplace sellers who need platform-accepted reports. The English site is thinner than the Chinese one, so overseas teams will get further faster by WeChat or email with a sales engineer.
