JLCPCB嘉立创

JLCPCB is the English-language ordering site of JLC Technology Group (嘉立创), the Shenzhen company that made cheap, fast prototype circuit boards something engineers order as casually as takeaway. You upload Gerber files, pay in US dollars, and a week or so later bare boards or fully assembled PCBAs arrive from the group's own factories. It has more than 9.5 million users in over 180 countries and handles over 21 million orders a year.

The origin story is pure Huaqiangbei. In 2006, three founders with vocational-college diplomas, Yuan Jiangtao and brothers Ding Hui and Ding Huixiang, rented a one-metre counter in the Huaqiangbei electronics market and started taking small PCB prototype orders. Their bet was on small batches: panelise lots of customers' designs together so a handful of boards costs a few dollars. SMT (surface-mount) assembly prototyping followed in 2015. Then came a components marketplace (LCSC), EDA design software, and 3D printing, CNC and sheet metal under sister brands like JLC3DP and JLCCNC. On 4 August 2026 the group listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange main board (001232), raising about US$694 million net and opening at a market value of around 130 billion yuan.

The capability list goes well past hobby boards. It covers 1 to 32-layer rigid boards (the group can do up to 64), HDI, flex, aluminium and copper-core boards, Rogers and PTFE materials for RF designs, and stencils. Turnkey assembly uses parts from its own stock. Certifications include UL, ISO 9001, IATF 16949 (automotive) and ISO 13485 (medical). Production runs in group factories in Zhuhai, Huizhou, Huai'an, Shaoguan and Jiangxi, covering more than 320 acres and turning out over 8 million m² of PCB a year.
