Hongsinn Precision is a CNC machine shop in Xinqiao, Bao'an, making metal and plastic parts to customer drawings for export buyers. It's a mid-sized job shop of 80 to 100 people, but it gets around. In 2026 it's exhibiting in Osaka and at Tokyo Big Sight, pitching parts made to Japanese JIS standards, and it showed at Hannover Messe in 2024.

The core is five- and four-axis milling, turn-mill work, grinding and wire cutting. The newest machine, added in May 2026, is a five-axis simultaneous centre with 800 mm travel (an AFMING GMU-800 EVO) for complex curved parts. Hongsinn quotes tolerances of ±0.005 mm "or even stricter". Materials run from aluminium, stainless and carbon steel, brass and titanium to engineering plastics like POM, nylon and PEEK. Around the machining they do sheet metal, welding, heat treatment and a long list of finishes: anodising, black oxide, nickel and zinc plating, nitriding and QPQ. The inspection room has a Zeiss Contura CMM, a Mitutoyo CMM, a Keyence optical measuring system and a material analyser. Customers are in automation, robotics, medical, semiconductor, instrumentation and automotive, and the shop holds ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
Orders run from a single prototype to 10,000-plus pieces, and the fastest lead time is three days. You deal with English-speaking sales staff, and the engineering team will do a DFM (design for manufacturability) review before they cut metal.
Hongsinn suits engineers in automation, robotics and scientific equipment who need tight-tolerance machined parts, one-offs or repeat batches, with finishing done in the same order. It's a machining specialist, so plastic housings that need injection tooling belong with a molder.
