HS Packfactory is a family-run paper packaging factory in Shenzhen that's been printing since 1999. It makes everything that goes around a product: rigid and magnetic boxes, folding cartons, printed corrugated shippers, inserts, instruction manuals, labels and hang tags. It sells to overseas brands and buyers, and you deal directly with the family that runs the presses.
Chairman Shugen Zheng started out with a single Roland press and a local print shop. He says he still checks the first sheet of every major run himself. The second generation has since joined. Jun Zheng runs production and says he "grew up around these machines", and Xiaolong Zheng runs export sales and service.
For hardware, the useful page is their electronics packaging guide. It covers boxes for phones, headphones, speakers, wearables, chargers and cables, and it reads like an engineer's checklist: test the insert cavity with the real device, cable and charger; leave room for barcodes, battery warnings and CE/FCC marks; decide early whether you need an anti-static bag. Inserts come in EVA foam, molded pulp, paper trays or plain paperboard. Their case studies include swapping EVA foam for molded pulp on a skincare line, switching to flat-packed collapsible rigid boxes to cut freight volume, and right-sizing an oversized mailer.
The process is simple. You send product size, quantity, artwork status and destination. They review the dieline, crease lines and insert fit, then make a sample in about 3-7 days. Mass production takes 15-20 days after approval. MOQ starts around 500 pcs for many projects, and dielines are free on suitable jobs. For certificates, ask for the current ISO 9001, BSCI or FSC files for your project; they check those case by case.
HS Packfactory suits a hardware startup ordering its first few thousand retail boxes, with the manual, insert and shipping carton all coming from one factory. If you only need 50-100 boxes for a pilot run, an online packaging platform with lower minimums is the easier route.
