Voion旺盈

Voion is a big Dongguan packaging group that started in 1996 and now runs a long list of factories and subsidiaries, with its head office in Shipai, Dongguan. It makes almost every printed thing that goes into a product box: rigid gift boxes, folding cartons, shipping cartons, the manual and quick-start guide, molded pulp trays, labels and die-cut parts. The pitch is one supplier for the whole box.

The English About page puts it at 10,000+ employees and annual turnover above 5 billion yuan, with wholly owned subsidiaries in Hong Kong, Shanghai, Shenzhen and San Francisco. The Chinese contact page lists group companies in Shipai, Qiaotou, Tangxia and Dongcheng in Dongguan, a colour-box company in Bao'an, Shenzhen, and plants in Jiangsu and Guizhou, plus Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia and India.

Consumer electronics is clearly home turf. The rigid-box page shows OPPO phone boxes and the manuals page shows quick-start guides for ZTE phones. Beyond boxes, there's molded pulp made from wood fibre, bagasse, bamboo and recycled fibre, plus leather and wooden boxes and high-end liquor packaging. They also do "smart" packaging with QR codes and RFID labels. On the design side, Voion lists iF Design gold awards for 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2022, a Red Dot in 2021, a Pentawards gold in 2021 and a MUSE platinum in 2022.

For a hardware launch, the confidentiality setup matters: every employee signs an NDA, files are encrypted, and there's a separate confidential workshop for unreleased products. Their design team takes a project from packaging concept through engineering drawings to samples. They run their own chemical lab and transport fleet too.

Voion suits a brand that's already heading for mass production and wants boxes, manuals, inserts and labels from one group, under NDA. It doesn't publish MOQs, prices or an email address, so the first step is a phone call.
