SYX Die Casting is an aluminum die casting shop in Qiaotou Town, Dongguan. It takes your 2D drawings and 3D models and handles the whole chain itself: mold design, mold making, casting, CNC post-machining and powder coating. With about 123 people on a roughly 10,000 m² site, it's a mid-sized, hands-on caster, not a giant.
The company counts more than 20 years of die casting experience and says it has learned much of what it knows from technical exchanges with customers. About 15 of the team are engineers and designers. They keep an in-house tool shop on purpose: the site explains that it means tooling problems in production get solved promptly, without wasted time or misunderstandings, and the customer deals with one partner for the whole process.
The casting floor runs LK die casting machines. Six cold-chamber machines from 300 to 3,500 tons cover aluminum parts up to about 60 kg (132 lb) in ADC12, A380 and A360, plus two hot-chamber machines of 88 and 160 tons. Forty CNC machining centres, three- to five-axis, machine the castings. Finishing covers sand and shot blasting, tumbling and a powder-coating line, with painting, passivation, e-coat and chrome on request. For checking parts there's a CMM, X-ray, a spectrum analyzer and a salt spray tester. Typical products: LED lighting housings, 5G telecom heat sinks, automotive parts, consumer-electronics front panels and LED floor-screen frames.
The case studies give a feel for how they think. They're short engineering notes comparing gating layouts for a die (the channels that feed molten metal into the cavity) and picking the one that avoids trapped air. Their process starts with a DFM report (design for manufacturing), 3D model optimisation and flow simulation before the mold is cut.
SYX suits hardware teams with aluminum housings, heat sinks, brackets or panels that need a production die casting mold, plus machining and coating, from one Dongguan supplier. Large parts are fine too: the machines go up to 3,500 tons and castings up to around 60 kg.
