About The Packtory
Source ↗The Packtory is a packaging service started by three European founders, with a Hong Kong-registered company and a team that works from Europe. You don't deal with a factory directly. You work with their team, and they get your boxes, inserts and mailers made at partner printers in Guangdong, then deliver them wherever you need in China, free.
The founders met during a master's degree in Asia and ran their own e-commerce brands first. Sourcing decent packaging in China was the headache, so they spent months travelling around southern China, visiting factories and building a supplier network, and launched The Packtory in 2018. The team page introduces Morgan, originally from Switzerland, who leads design; Aaron, with Croatian roots, who handles clients; and Ivan, who has lived across Asia for a decade and runs manufacturing, QC and logistics. They say they've worked with 12,000+ businesses.
The range covers kraft and printed mailer boxes, two-piece and magnetic rigid boxes, insert cards, stickers, tissue paper, poly mailers and paper bags, plus fully custom structures. Boxes can be any size from 3 to 24 inches, printed in one colour, full CMYK or Pantone, inside and out, with matte, gloss, soft-touch, foil, embossing or spot UV. Recycled board, FSC-certified paper and soy inks are standard options.
Design help is free: die-line templates for your exact size, 3D mockups and unlimited revisions, whether you send print-ready art or just a logo. Boxes start at 1,000 units, insert cards and bags at 500. Production takes about 15-20 days, or 4-6 weeks for fully custom projects. QC covers materials, colour on press, structure and a final check, and they remake anything that's out of spec at no charge. Emails get a reply within 24 hours, usually faster during European business hours.
The free China delivery is the useful bit for hardware: ship the boxes straight to your contract manufacturer so products get packed at the line and nobody pays to fly empty boxes. The Packtory fits a small brand with a first run of 1,000+ units that wants English-speaking, European-hours support and help with the artwork.
