About Shouci Hardware
Source ↗Shouci Hardware is a turning specialist in Houjie, Dongguan. Its floor is lined with Swiss-type (sliding-headstock) automatic lathes, machines that feed bar stock through a guide bushing so they can turn long, thin, tiny parts very accurately. That's the whole focus: small precision turned parts, made to customer drawings in big volumes. The site puts monthly capacity at 10 million pieces.
The company was set up in 2008 and has grown steadily. It was named a national high-tech enterprise in 2022, raised its registered capital to CNY 10 million in 2023, and in 2024 was recognised as a "specialised and sophisticated" SME, a Chinese government label for focused niche manufacturers. The factory covers 7,000 m², and production and QC technicians make up about 80% of the staff.
The equipment tells the story. There are about 170 automatic lathes, all imported from Japan, from Tsugami and Star, plus turn-mill compound machines. Typical parts are 3-26 mm in diameter. The smallest they've made was 0.6 mm across, and they quote precision down to 0.002 mm. They machine stainless steel, aluminum, copper and plastics such as ABS, and say they've gone deepest in automotive parts, medical parts, phone parts and watch parts. The certificates on the site back up the niche. ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 (the automotive quality standard) cover valve-seat manufacturing. ISO 13485, the medical-device standard, covers solenoid-valve parts for non-implantable medical devices. All of them run to 2027. Inspection is serious too: a Hexagon CMM, 2D and 2.5D vision systems, a 12-megapixel optical sorting machine, Keyence laser gauges and a Mitutoyo roundness tester, 103 inspection devices in all.
The ordering path is old-school and clear. Send drawings with tolerances, material, quantity and any plating or hardness needs. They check whether the part suits their lathes, quote, sign a purchase order, then make samples for your approval before mass production. Lead time is agreed before the order is signed. One long-time customer says the quality is the same "whether it's a sample or mass production" and reports a process capability (Cpk) above 1.67.
Shouci suits teams that need small turned metal parts in volume, like valve seats, solenoid-valve parts, and automotive, medical, phone or watch components, especially where the quality paperwork matters.
