Simcone is a Shenzhen silicone rubber shop that has been making keypads since 2008. It's in Gongming, in Guangming District, and the core product is the rubber keypad: the soft, springy buttons you press on machinery, a hospital call alarm or a fire alarm panel. They also make silicone protective cases, watch bands, seals, gaskets and O-rings.
The company profile describes a modest start: money was tight and Simcone began as a small workshop-style processing plant, then grew step by step. Today they run seven in-house processes: molding, printing, spraying, laser etching, epoxy coating, assembly and inspection. The site says the engineering and production leads average more than ten years in the trade.
Keypads are where the detail shows. You can choose the contact pill under each key: plain carbon, low-resistance carbon, gold-plated, nickel or a printed contact. They tune actuation force, return force and snap ratio so the keys feel right. Legends can be silkscreened or pad-printed, or the key can be sprayed and then laser-etched, which gives sharper, denser symbols than printing and works with LED backlighting. A PU or epoxy top coat adds wear resistance. Silicone comes from suppliers including Shin-Etsu and Dow Corning, in food-grade, medical-grade and industrial grades from 30 to 80 Shore A, and they can over-mold silicone onto plastic and metal parts.
They build the molds themselves on high-speed CNC, EDM and slow wire cutting machines, and talk through gating, mold surface and cooling channels with you before cutting steel. Send 2D or 3D files (IGS or STP) and they can run mold-flow analysis. The test bench includes a 2.5D video measuring system, force-curve, abrasion and life-cycle testers, and a temperature and humidity chamber. A POS terminal customer is quoted saying they tried other suppliers and came back to Simcone.
Simcone suits a team designing a device with a custom silicone keypad, especially one that needs backlit, laser-etched keys or a specific tactile feel, and that's ready to pay for its own compression tool.
