About Kaierwo
Source ↗Kaierwo (凯尔沃) is a prototype and low-volume manufacturer in Guangming, on Shenzhen's north-western edge, that has found a niche in energy-transition hardware. Besides the usual model-shop menu, it makes prototypes of energy-storage battery packs, EV charger housings, solar inverters, water-cooling modules and EV control boxes, plus medical devices and industrial instruments.
Kaierwo was founded in 2011 and has a 6,000 m² plant and a technical team of about 150. The job, as they put it, is taking products "from concept to form verification and batch production". Their main sectors are medical devices, new energy, military and industrial instruments. They hold ISO 13485, the quality standard for medical devices, alongside ISO 9001. The English export site, cnkaierwo.com, counts more than 40,000 projects delivered for customers in the US, Canada, the EU, Japan and Singapore. There's a Japanese site too, jp.kaierwo.com, so they clearly want Japanese engineers' business.
The process list is broad. It covers three-, four- and five-axis CNC milling and turning, SLA, SLS and SLM (metal) 3D printing, silicone vacuum casting, rapid tooling with injection molding, die casting and sheet metal, with finishing in-house. Their new-energy work shows how the pieces fit together. Five-axis CNC in 6061 aluminium, PC/ABS, glass-filled nylon or PEEK makes functional parts that have to seal and shed heat, to ±0.02 mm in three to five days. Printing handles curved shells and cooling channels. Vacuum casting turns out 10 to 50 identical units for trade shows or market tests, and laser-cut, CNC-bent sheet metal forms big battery enclosures. Everything gets checked on a CMM.
The English site sells speed and price, promising lead times 40% faster and costs 20% to 30% lower. Low-volume runs go from 100 to 100,000 units, and standard prototypes take three to four working days. Engineers and project managers in the reviews praise quality and turnaround.
Kaierwo suits engineers building battery, charging, solar or medical hardware who need working prototypes and small batches in production-grade materials. It also fits Japanese or Western buyers who want to work in Japanese or English. Figures like years in business, plant size and machine count differ from page to page, so check capacity for your specific job.
