About Vexos
Source ↗Vexos is a North American electronics manufacturing services (EMS) company, headquartered in New York, with factories in Vancouver (Washington), Markham (Ontario), Juárez (Mexico), Ho Chi Minh City and Dongguan. Since July 2026 it has been part of East West Manufacturing, an Atlanta-based manufacturer that bought it to add high-mix capacity and experience in regulated industries. The Dongguan plant is how a Western-run EMS gives its customers a China option.
In March 2025 Vexos moved its China operations into a new 4,200 m² (45,200 sq ft) factory in Dongkeng, a town in central Dongguan, with automated SMT lines and new test and inspection gear. Peter Grimsdale, the senior vice president for Asia, said at the time that the move added capacity and sped up time to market. The plant serves industrial, medical, communications, railway, automotive and aerospace customers, and handles both high-mix, low-volume work and high-volume runs.
Vexos describes itself as high-mix, high-complexity, mid-to-low volume. Across all sites it offers PCB assembly, box build, new product introduction (NPI) with DFx engineering (design reviews for manufacturing, test and cost), supply-chain management, direct order fulfilment and RMA/repair depots. It also sells custom mechanical parts through supplier partners. The Dongguan page lists ISO 9001, ISO 13485 for medical, IATF 16949 for automotive, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO 50001. It took top honors in three categories of Circuits Assembly's 2026 Service Excellence Awards, which are based on customer ratings.
You deal with an English-speaking North American company and request quotes through its website. It doesn't publish minimums or lead times. Across the group it counts more than 350 OEM customers.
Vexos suits OEMs in North America and elsewhere that want a Western-managed EMS with a China plant, and the option of building in China, Vietnam or Mexico within one supplier.
